Install a Plugin using the WordPress Admin Plugin Upload

Step 2 – Go to Plugins and click Add New.

Step 3 – Click the  Upload Plugin button on top of the page.

Step 4 – Click the Choose File button and select the plugin file you downloaded.

Step 5 – Click Install Now.

Step 6 – After the plugin is installed, click Active Plugin.

Manually Install a WordPress Plugin using FTP

Step 1 – Download the plugin from the source (which will be a zip file).

Step 2 – Unzip the zip file on your computer, you’ll get a new folder with the same name.

Step 3 – Access your host through the FTP manager. You can use a FTP client like FileZilla.

Step 4 – Upload the folder you extracted from the zip file to the /wp-content/plugins  on your host.

Step 5 – Go to Appearance > Plugins and click  the Activate Plugin button.
